Volunteering

Give your time and talents to God through service.

Our Foundation always needs the help of volunteers committed to service and that have a missionary spirit. You will be given work according to your area of interest, skills or current needs. There are two types of volunteers:

  1. Short Term Volunteers: This category includes groups or individuals who wish to work for a period of time less than three (3) months.
  2. Long Term Volunteers: Long-term volunteering is for a period equal to or greater than one year. It is important to note that, for foreigners, it takes about six months for a volunteer to get used to the local culture and language, so the longer you are immersed in it, the more helpful it will be.
  3. Mission trips: For groups of people who want to come for a few days or weeks for a specific job. Such as rural medical services, evangelism, Christian vacation Bible school, construction or others.

* Specify in the form how long you want to be a volunteer

"To accomplish the great work of giving the last warning to the world, a serious and well-directed effort is necessary, as a people."

To obtain a visa to come to Bolivia, please contact the Bolivian embassy or consulate closest to your address. The requirements and prices are usually different depending on the country of origin. Generally, for short-term missionaries, a tourist visa will suffice. Immigration laws can change without prior notice, so again, we recommend that you contact the embassy or consulate before traveling to Bolivia.

We firmly believe that the way we dress reflects our Christian values. Consider the following recommendations before packing:

Appropriate clothing for Gentlemen:

  • Flannels or t-shirts must have sleeves that cover the armpits.
  • Shorts, bermuda shorts, etc., are not appropriate for church or worship gatherings or classes.
  • Pants and dress shirt are appropriate for church.
  • To bathe in public, the use of shorts and T-shirts or T-shirts with short sleeves is recommended.
  • Keep in mind that when working in areas such as agriculture, carpentry, or construction, you must have appropriate clothing and footwear for these tasks. Consider both comfort and safety in choosing your attire.

Appropriate clothing for ladies:

  • Dresses and blouses must have sleeves that cover the armpits.
  • Blouses must be long enough to cover your abdomen and to maintain the privacy of the person, covering your underwear and cleavage.
  • Skirts must be long enough to cover your knee whether you are sitting. It is recommended to choose modest clothing, which isn't skin tight.
  • For both class, worship and church activities, ladies should wear appropriate skirts or dresses. Only loose pants are allowed when working in the orchards or to be worn in outdoor activities.
  • The use of makeup is not allowed.
  • Ornamental jewelry is not allowed.
  • Shoes must ensure your comfort and protection. For this reason, we recommend wearing low-heeled or flat-heeled shoes.
  • To bathe in public places, you can wear shorts (below the knee) and flannels or shirts with sleeves).
  • Do not bring worldly DVDs, videos, movies, literature or music with you.
